Congratulations to all our winners from Saturday’s Annual Awards Party.  A big thank you goes to all the committee members for doing such a wonderful job on putting everything together.  It was a fantastic evening, and yes, those trophies were very heavy!!!  Remember to check out the year book where all our winners are listed.

The Busselton Ironman and 70.3 training program information night is on this Thursday at 7:15pm. See below for further details.

Mark your diaries for the NCTC AGM which is on Saturday the 7th August.  Please consider joining the committee, the more the merrier.  More details to follow.

MONDAY 25th July

SWIMMING: JUNIORS SWIM SQUAD

Venue: Arena Joondalup, Kennedya Drive
Time:6:00pm – 7:00pm
Cost: $10 per session paid via a swim card through register now ($90 for 10 sessions).

TUESDAY 26th July

RIDE: ILUKA LOOPS

Venue: Meet at Celebrations Whitfords
Time: 6am – 7:15am

RUN: INTERVAL TRAINING  – CHANGE OF VENUE

Venue: Seacrest Park.  Park on the verge  on St Helier Drive, opposite Renown Way.  Meet on the footpath and don’t run anyone over!!!
Time:6:15pm – 7pm
Cost: $5. Please get a training card to minimise cash handling

WEDNESDAY 27th July

SWIMMING: SQUADS AT CRAIGIE

Venue: Craigie Leisure Centre
Time: 6:30pm – 7:30pm
Cost: $10 or less with a training card
Details: Indoor squad in 25m pool, outdoor squad in 50m pool.  The indoor squad is for adults and juniors (12+) who need swim fitness, stroke correction and technique development.  The outdoor session is based on building pace awareness and speed. Refer website for more information.


THURSDAY 28th July

RIDE: HEPBURN LOOPS

Venue: Meet at Celebrations Whitfords
Time: 6:00am – 7:00am

RUN: INTERVAL TRAINING

Time: 6:15pm – 7pm

INFORMATION EVENING: IRONMAN & 70.3 TRAINING PROGRAMS

Venue: Warrandyte Park Clubroom, 89 Warrandyte Dr, Craigie
Time: 7:15pm

FRIDAY 29th July

SWIMMING: CRAIGIE LEISURE CENTRE

Venue: Craigie Leisure Centre – 50m outdoor pool
Time: 10:30am – 11:30am  (2 lanes)
Cost: $10 or less with a training card
Details: Take your pick: – short set up to 2.2km; longer set 2.7-3km. Pacing as per program with drills to develop technique.


SATURDAY 30th July

RIDE: NOVICE/JUNIORS RIDE

Venue: Meet at Sorrento Surf Club
Time: 6:30am – 8am
Details: Kevin is your ride leader and is there for the older juniors and novice adults. Distance travelled is usually about 30kms.  See website for more details.

RIDE –Yanchep/Two Rocks

Venue: Meet at Sorrento Surf Club
Time: 7am – 10:30am

RIDE: CHOCOLATIERS

Venue: Meet at Sorrento Surf Club
Time: 7am –
Details: The Chocolatiers are an intermediate group ride.  Average speed is usually less than 26km/hour.  I’m baaaaccckkk.  Very unfit and slow, but see you at Sorrento at 7am.


SUNDAY 31th July

RIDE: WINTER SUNDAY SESSION

Venue: Meet at Sorrento Surf Club
Time: 7am
Details: This ride can be your recovery ride, social ride or wet weather alternative if you miss your Saturday ride.  Just turn up and make a plan based on who’s there on the day.
