This is a new weekly tempo run training session with Coach Pippa at MacDonald Park, Padbury. (Enter off Forrest Road and park on the Forrest Road side of the Hockey Club). * RIDE:  ILUKA LOOP, Celebrations Whitfords, 6am-7.20am

This ride caters for mixed ability groups due to fixed regrouping points and a shorter route option for Group 3 that allows you to reach the regroup points at the same time as the faster riders (refer to the route description & map on the club website for details). Most people make their own way home on the return trip along the coast so distance/time is whatever suits you. Full ride approx 40km.

This is the last Duathlon in the winter series. The Duathlons are considered training, not a race. More info can be found here . If someone is free to watch the bikes while people are running, your help and support would be greatly appreciated. Spectators are encouraged to come and support this event as this is a good social event. Informal atmosphere with mob start & options to do a short or long course.

This week the Juniors & Novice cyclists will join in with the club duathlon. Please bring bikes and running gear.

This week, Michelle & David are planning to do the duathlon. If anyone is still keen for a ride, an IM group are still planning to ride and all are welcome to join in. The route is the Swan Valley Circuit.

* OPEN WATER SWIM: Sorrento Beach 8am

This is a casual (non-coached) open water swim for anyone interested to swim as a mob from the beach. A few people have resumed this session so come on down if you’re keen to get back into the open water. Reports are that the water temp is actually quite good. We generally swim parallel with the shore between the groynes heading north to the Hillarys wall or between the groynes to the south towards the MAAC club – distances depend on the day and what people feel like doing. See website for details.

Swim cards will be on hand at all sessions. The cards are $90 for 10 sessions (a saving of $10). Show the coach your payment receipt  (paper or digital copy)  and they can authorise your card! Payment is required either by direct deposit or register now to avoid too much cash handling on pool deck 1.
