Hopefully all of you got (multiple) emails from TriWA yesterday regarding your membership renewal which is due to expire on June 30th, 2015. I have had some questions today about cancelling memberships, changing credit card details and delaying renewal so I thought it might benefit everyone to answer them here too. The active now system is managed by Triathlon WA so we can’t  make any changes for you.  Your membership renewal email would have included instructions on how to access your personal membership “portal”. If you had selected auto renewal on signing up last year and you wish to cancel your membership or delay auto renewal for next season, you will have to turn off the auto renewal option. Once you login to your portal, there is an option to turn off auto renewal on the right hand side under the actions column. If you turn that off, your membership will expire on the 30th June, and then when you are ready you can just reapply for membership. You will also need to do that if your credit card details have changed. Then after July 1st, you can re-apply for membership with the new details. They have also mentioned that some people are having trouble accessing their portals with Safari internet browsers. So if you are using an Apple or Mac product, you may need to download a different internet browser or try to access a Windows based PC. They suggested using Firefox, Internet explorer or Google chrome.

This is a new system and there certainly have been some teething problems, but TriWA and Triathlon Australia are aware of it and are doing their best to get things sorted out. Hopefully most of you are happily renewing for next year and will have no issues.  Any problems, contact the triathlon WA office directly on (08) 94439778 and they will be happy to assist.
