* TUESDAY RIDE: 24th Feb, 6-7.20am, Iluka Loop

This is the regular Tuesday morning club ride departing 6AM Celebrations Bottle-shop at Whitfords Shopping Centre. There are three ride plans catering for all speeds of riders: Group 1 – plus 32km/hr, Group 2 – plus 30km/hr, Group 3 less 30km/hr. Distance: 40km, 38km & 32km. Please self-seed yourself into the correct group for your ability so that all 3 groups meet up at the regroup points at approximately the same time. This allows us to ride off from each regroup point together – we do not have ride leaders for each speed group so we are still one group. More info and links to maps can be found here

* THURSDAY RIDE: 26th Feb, 6am, Joondalup Loop clockwise

This is one of the regular Thursday morning club rides departing 6AM Celebrations Bottle-shop at Whitfords Shopping Centre.

Unlike most other club rides these rides departs from Guildford railway station (south eastern car park).

This week we will take the Medium ride 78km followed by Coffee and snacks at Guildford Milk Bar. See here for the map and more info.

Thanks to Rob Lees for a great, informative and interactive workshop. Another big thanks to Kim Tyler Lees for the tea and Emma Bott for the orange cake.
Rob had a good turn out with lots of questions keeping him busy from difficult tyre fits, brake adjustments n close inspections of bike frames including puncture repairs.  These were easy after a clear demo and instruction.
Hopefully we won’t have to use this knowledge too often (unless your name is Allan Hartley). Thanks again Rob!

Keep an eye out for the next workshop – Fast Transitions – coming very very soon.

* PARK RUN CARINE GLADES – every Saturday, 8am

Quite a few Northcoasters have been spotted enjoying this free timed 5km (fun) run at Carine Glades at 8am every Saturday. North Coast has now been set up as club option so you can either add it to your current registration or select it when registering for the first time.  Check it out here. Registration and participation is free, all you need is your bar code and to show up. They are always looking for volunteers too if you want to check it out first!

Volunteers are needed for the Tadpoles event at Challenge Stadium  on the 8th March. Tri-events are looking for 5 for transition, help on registration and Rosa will need help with the BBQ as well.

Volunteers are also needed for the Sunsmart Womens tri on Sunday 15th March. Great opportunity for the men folk to come and cheer us on and help out 🙂

Please contact Rosa via email if you are available to help! Please give some of your time if you can!
