* THURSDAY RIDE: 29th January, 6am

Joondalup Loop – Clockwise, The Joondalup loop rides happen ever alternate Thursday and are scheduled as a recovery ride, yes recovery not flat out races around the suburbs and cater for all ride levels. We have started to see a good number of riders come back to this ride and if you are wanting to get out and have a nice paced group ride before work then this is it. See you 6AM at Celebrations Bottle Shop in Whitfords Shopping Centre expected return time 7:00AM.

* SATURDAY RIDE – Wesco + Jindalee:  31st January, 6am

A new ride for the schedule this week  Wesco + Jindalee a great new ride plan of 72km. This ride will be starting at Sorrento SLSC at 6am. This new ride will be published to the NCTC site and the route and gps data is on RidewithGPS at http://ridewithgps.com/routes/6877087

* SHORTER RIDE – Wesco : 31st January, 6am

A shortened version of the above ride, but starting (and finishing) at Mullaloo Dome at 6AM and without the extension to Jindalee. The ride is documented on ridewithgps starting at SSLSC for a 60km distance but by starting at Mullaloo you can make this a 50km ride, which is this week’s short ride option. The main part of the ride out onto Old Yanchep Rd and back along Wesco Rd is the same route as the longer ride above so expect to have the longer ride group catch up with you at some point along the way. This ride will be published on the NCTC site and the route and gps data is available on RidewithGPS at http://ridewithgps.com/routes/6877028

* First Timers HIM session

It was disappointing to hear that Barry only had 3 or 4 people attend the second of his scheduled HIM First Timers sessions from a confirmed 6 or more. Barry offers a wealth of triathlon racing experience and has many years of age group wins to his list of achievements. Barry has put in a great deal of work and effort building this training programme for club members to access at no charge and we thank him very much for his on-going efforts.  It’s not too late if you wish to access his notes which include a wonderful PowerPoint presentation. There will be a third session focusing on the actual race day to be held in mid April.

* PARK RUN CARINE GLADES – every Saturday, 8am

Quite a few Northcoasters have been spotted enjoying this free timed 5km (fun) run at Carine Glades at 8am every Saturday. North Coast has now been set up as club option so you can either add it to your current registration or select it when registering for the first time.  Check it out here. Registration and participation is free, all you need is your bar code and to show up. They are always looking for volunteers too if you want to check it out first!
