Thank you to everyone that came along to the season launch on Sunday.. we had a fabulous turnout and it was wonderful to see so many people there. We hope you had a great time and connected with lots of other members! We are excited for our season ahead and look forward to being involved in a fun, encouraging and supportive community with all our members. A special congratulations to our 5 winners of the priority entry passes to Busso 70.3 ; Sue Robertson, Stephen Holmes, Stuart King, Christine Golder, and Deb Kirkham.

There are lots of activities again this week around the club, so be sure to check out the calendar for the weekly training sessions available and get involved!  Highlights of the weeks activities include:

* RUN TRAINING – Time Trial- Thursday 23rd October, 6pm

Run training this Thursday will be something a little different. Rob has planned a 3Km Time Trial to use as an early season bench mark. He will re-run the test again later in the season to track your improvements. Come down and have a crack, all are welcome. Location and other information can be found at http://northcoasttriclub.org.au/event/run-summer-intervals/2014-10-23/

* TRYSTARS – Friday 24th October, 4.30pm

This week the Trystars training session is at Sacred Heart school and the younger Trystars (7-11) session will be based on cycling and running, so don’t forget your bikes and helmets!   Competitive Trystars (12-18) will join Kevin for their cycling program. Janine is away this week for work and has some awesome people who have volunteered to oversee the session, but parent help is very much welcomed and encouraged!

Our Aquathlons are held at the Sorrento Surf Life saving club. Registration is at 5.45pm, and race briefing at 6pm. Come along to participate or spectate.
