Lancelin Pink / Lancelin Blue

Prepare for the weekend of the year. The Lancelin countdown is on, so it’s time to start planning the logistics. Below you will find the journey chart so that if you are planning to share the ride you can set up your stage changeovers. it is also a guide to accumulative distances by checkpoint.

We depart at 6.00am from 7 Baroola Place, Ocean Reef. (Rob & Kim Lees home). For normal people this is very early in the morning, so please be considerate of the immediate neighborhood by keeping the noise level down.

Please buddy up into groups to share the luggage load – there are usually at least 10 vehicles that drive up. A vehicle will bring up the rear to assist any struggling riders.

The halfway stop is

Willowbrook composite

Willowbrook Farm Caravan Park, where owners Bill & Lil will welcome us. The park is situated 200m after the left turn into Gingin Brook Rd (on the left side of the road). All participants are encouraged to take advantage of this comfort stop (including drivers). It should take riders between 2 & 3 hours to reach this point, so the support will wait for everyone to arrive. We all take off together again from this point for the cruise into Lancelin.

Please start confirming your intentions for the ride by emailing me at nortondo@me.com with your ride plan and whether you have support (and can share this) or will require support.

Please contact the Lancelin Lodge and book your own accommodation – it is a backpacker hostel so the rates are very reasonable. Lodge details can be found below.

This is a charity ride to raise money for Breast Cancer & Prostate Cancer, so you will be asked to donate $10.00 per adult and $5.00 per junior to be given a pink or blue scarf to wear on the ride. The scarf will also be your ticket for a free BBQ dinner on the Saturday night at the lodge. Lancelin Pink/Lancelin Blue – here we come.
