As of this week all rides will be found on the website in the Training drop down under Regular Bike Rides. Saturday, Tuesday & Thursday rides will always be the same ride unless there is a post on the website advising otherwise. For Thursday the 2 routes will be decided by the date – Hepburn Loops on evens and Joondalup Loop on unevens (the orientation of the Joondalup route will simply alternate).
There are some Alternative Bike Rides listed on the Training drop down – these are Club endorsed rides and members are encouraged to arrange a group to do these rides on a Saturday – the variety will be welcomed by many. BUT please note these will only always only be alternative and will not replace the regular ride.
If you would like to lead a group on an “alternative” please contact Glen Mesch (Club Captain) and if he believes you are capable of leading the chosen ride, he will post it on the website. Cut off times for postings is 8.00pm Tuesday evenings.
This Saturday, the Lancelin ride is an “Alternative” ride. The regular ride will still go ahead for all members not going to Lancelin. If you are riding from Sorrento this Saturday, look out for the Club nutrition sponsor 32GI who will be having a product sampling from 8.00am.
